Porta srl is able to provide the design and installation of a thermal power plant and the entire distribution network of the produced heat, towards the industrial machinery that requires its use.
The power plants are designed based on the customer's needs and consequently use various carrier fluids: steam, superheated water and thermal oil.
Using thermal oil we have designed many small and medium capacity power plants, up to 30 MW, used to power ORC turbines that produce electricity. The carrier fluids used are mineral and synthetic, with operating temperatures of up to 400°.
The use of well or surface water in steam thermal power plants may require various preliminary conditioning, such as softening, demineralization, chlorination and possible sanitization (for the food sector).
Porta srl also supplies and installs this kind of systems, using the most advanced technologies available on the market.
Porta srl is particularly specialized in the creation of prefabricated power plants and thermal units, a type of product that offers significant advantages compared to on-site installation:
- Reduction of assembly times on site,
- Respect of timing,
- Guarantee of certain costs for the Customer,
- Material controls at our workshop before delivery,
- Ease of transport and logistics .
By virtue of this last aspect, this solution is proposed above all for abroad construction sites: the thermal power plants and the units are pre-assembled in the workshop on container-sized skids, for transport also by ship and/or plane. Once they reach their destination they are easily connected. Larger systems can be built on various skids that can be transported and connected on site. A solution that is as quick as it is efficient.
