REVAMPINGHeating System Revamping
The revamping activity consists of modernizing an existing heating system, in order to improve and/or increase its performance and safety, and to adapt it to current regulations.
The phases of the revamping process are:
1- Assessment of the plant situation
The thermal and electrical performances of the system are analysed; obsolete components, processes that can be improved, new technologies and applicable sensors are identified. The methods of adaptation to the new regulations and the parameters to guarantee process safety and AtEx safety are identified.
2- Cost/Benefit Evaluation
A study is presented to the Customer, defining the essential interventions (adjustments to current regulations and for the safety of the systems), the optional interventions (performance improvements, management and energy saving improvements), the cost estimate and the short-term and long-term economic return.
3- Execution of the works
The interventions are carried out and the renewed system is delivered to the end customer.
